IndemniFly Update Notes

SAHPA Integration: Our integration with SAHPA is almost complete, and we are in the final stages of testing and tweaks. With this update, registering a student via the IndemniFly app will now automatically register the student on the SAHPA system. To ensure successful registration, please verify that your school DTO number is correctly formatted as SACAA/0000/DTO (replace “0000” with your 4-digit DTO number). Additionally, the Instructors CAA license number will be used for verification. The SACAA license number should start with a “0” (e.g., 0279001171). 

New Refund Window and Feature: Instructors now have the ability to request refunds for students that could not fly. Refunds can only be made by the school manager and must be submitted within a 2-day window. After 2 days from registration, refunds will no longer be available, and any used credits will be forfeited.

UI Updates: Some page names have been changed, and the Tandem Students Pages has been redesigned for better space efficiency. The following new icons have been added onto the tandem students page:

Cloud Icon – Indicates the student has been successfully registered and assigned a SAHPA number.

Tree Icon – Shows that a SANParks permit number has been added to the registration.

Camera Icon – Indicates that the student opted to purchase the flight media package.

⁠Student Registration Form: The registration form now includes an optional section for Emergency Information (Next of Kin). Additionally, the student signature control has been improved and now automatically saves signatures.

New Student View: A new tandem student view is now available, providing a more streamlined experience when selecting a student.

AB-Initio:
Managers can now:

⁠View logged flights and post feedback.

Access flight-specific maneuvers for detailed analysis.

Logbook Update Notes

Student Pilot: Pilots in training can now browse and read maneuver information and theory for the current enrolled course. Additionally logged maneuvers will now be displayed on the flight view.
